Georgia Hall broke away from the pack with two birdies in her first four holes in the second round of the Andalucía Costa del Sol Open de Espana Femenino early on Friday morning.

Hall started at the 10th and birdied the 11th and 13th holes to establish a two stroke lead at nine-under-par, in hot and sunny conditions at Real Club de Campo Guadalmina on the Costa del Sol.Suzann Pettersen also birdied the 11th, but made a bogey on the 12th before recovering a shot at the 13th to get back to seven-under-par alongside overnight co-leaders Natalia Escuriola Martinez and Diana Luna.

Hall then birdied the long 17th moving to 10-under with a three stroke lead through the turn.
