- The Real Guadalhorce Club de Golf hosts the last Ladies European Tour event with a line-up full of big names.
- Ten players who have won on the European Tour this year will be looking to close the season with another victory.
The Andalucía Costa del Sol Open de España presented by Oysho, which will take place from 28 November to 1 December, will bring together the 64 best players in the ranking and 11 guests in an event that brings the Ladies European Tour (LET) season to a close. The tournament promises thrills right down to the last shot with an exceptional line-up of historic players and others who have shone throughout the year.
Among the stars that stand out in the line-up, Carlota Ciganda, champion in the 2021 edition held at Los Naranjos, returns as one of the benchmarks of the tournament. Alongside her, names such as Caroline Hedwall, winner of the 2022 Open and five-time member of the European Solheim Cup team; Anne Van Dam, winner in 2018 and 2019; and Aditi Ashok, champion in 2023 at Las Brisas, ensure a first-class competitive level.
The tournament will also bring together 10 players who have achieved victories this season on the LET. Among them, the German Helen Briem, champion in La Sella Open; the English Alice Hewson, Liz Young, Annabel Dimmock, Bronte Law and Amy Taylor; the Belgian Mannon de Roey; the Danish Nicole Broch; the Singaporean Shannon Tan; and the Spanish Marta Martin, who was crowned this year in the Tipsport Czech Ladies Open. All of them are aiming to close the season with a new victory in one of the most important events on the circuit.
As for the LET Order of Merit, known as the Race to Costa del Sol, the tournament will be crucial in determining the final rankings. The players who finish in the top-10 will get their direct pass to the final stage of the LPGA Q-Series, which grants the card to compete in the main world circuit. In this context, Spain’s Maria Hernandez, currently ninth in the rankings, will be looking to secure her position. For her part, Marta Martín could join this select group if she manages to finish in the top three in this tournament.
