From 27th to 30th November 2025, the Real Guadalhorce Golf Club (Málaga) will host the Andalucía Costa del Sol Open de España presented by Oysho for the second consecutive year. This tournament closes the Ladies European Tour (LET) season and is also supported by Turismo Costa del Sol as the main sponsor alongside Andalucía. The choice of Malaga and Guadalhorce consolidates the relationship between the destination and international women’s golf, offering players and the public a setting connected to the city and with first-class services.

Costa del Sol, known as the Costa del Golf, has more than 70 courses in an ideal setting for year-round play, with specialised infrastructure and complementary cultural, gastronomic and accommodation offerings that position the destination among the European leaders. In this context, the Andalucía Costa del Sol Open de España presented by Oysho acts as a platform for international promotion and as a lever to continue attracting visitors who value the quality and the complete experience of the destination.

The 2025 edition will continue the organisational success of last year at Real Guadalhorce Golf Club, with a technical and demanding course just a few minutes from Malaga city. In addition to its sporting significance as the final event on the LET calendar, the tournament could prove decisive for the circuit’s Order of Merit, reinforcing the competitive interest of the week without detracting from the event itself.

The Costa del Sol has a strong link with the Open: 2025 will be the twelfth time in the modern era that the tournament has been held in the region, following editions at Flamingos Golf, La Quinta Golf & C.C., Aloha Golf, Real Club de Golf Guadalmina, Los Naranjos Golf Club, Alferini Golf, Real Club de Golf Las Brisas and Real Guadalhorce Club de Golf. This track record reflects the region’s capacity to host international competitions and its ongoing commitment to women’s golf.

Francisco Salado, president of the Provincial Council and Costa del Sol Tourism Board, commented: ‘It is a real honour for the Costa del Sol to be involved, once again, in an event of the calibre of the Andalucía Costa del Sol Spanish Open Golf Championship, which makes us a global benchmark for tourism.’

The participants in this important tournament become protagonists and ambassadors for the Costa del Sol, a destination that has been promoting golf as a tourist product for years, as it is a fundamental factor in deseasonalisation, since the high season for this sport does not coincide with that of general tourism.

According to Salado, golf tourists are ‘a particularly interesting type of tourist for the province. I never tire of repeating that golf still has great growth potential and brings significant benefits to the Costa del Sol, with high-spending customers who generate wealth and boost other complementary sectors’.

The Costa del Sol, known as the Costa del Golf, has continued to consolidate its position as the leading destination in Europe in terms of the concentration of golf courses, with 67% of all golf courses in Andalusia, spread across 16 municipalities, located on the Costa del Sol.

‘Golf is a segment that is highly attractive to tourists and has great promotional value. For this reason, we should once again be proud of the joint work carried out by various institutions, which have once again pulled together to promote a tourist segment, such as golf, that brings so many benefits to the Costa del Sol destination, demonstrating that our province is more than ready to host this type of event.’
